+212 MAGAZINE
Bachelor Project in Graphic Design at ECAL
Marrakech, nicknamed the "red city," offers a vibrant atmosphere and intoxicating scents.
It's a city full of contrasts, where young artists emerge with boldness and contagious passion.
"+212 magazine" offers a journey to discover these artists and their universe. This work resides
in exchange, dialogue, and collaboration with all participants. It's about creating an authentic connection,
exploring the interconnections between cultures, and bearing witness to the beauty and artistic diversity that emerges.
Thus, wearing my various hats, I have created this magazine, juggling between artistic direction, writing, interviews,
and simple exchanges. And this is, I hope, only an initial step of a long and rich journey of discoveries.

Souvenirs
This edition serves as a poignant reflection on our family's history, meticulously tracing through the archives to illuminate the stories of individuals who have, at times, faded from view. Whether through the finality of death or the shifting currents of life that have led them away from our familial orbit, these figures hold a significant place in our collective memory. Through this exploration, we honor their presence and the indelible mark they've left on our family narrative, cherishing their legacy amidst the ebb and flow of time.
Amazigh
In this project, I curated and designed a small illustrated edition of traditional Kabyle stories and folktales. The book captures the rich cultural heritage of the Kabyle people through vibrant visuals and carefully crafted layouts, offering readers an immersive experience into the world of these timeless narratives
Souk Jeema El Fna
« Mom, when I grow up, I want to wear fake[…] » It's an editorial project which sublimates, in a way, the textile counterfeiting. It's also a visual ride through the souk of Marrakech.

Boiler Typeface
Development of a typeface as part of a typography course by Aurel Sack at ECAL, Boiler Typeface is a versatile text font that also works well for display purposes.
La coloc
Logo made for the multi Swiss brands store based in Lausanne, emerging Swiss designers & artists.
Posters
Posters created as part of a competition organized for an advent calendar.

AGORA magazine
Multidisciplinary magazine showcasing collaborations between artists who are previously unacquainted, coming together for the first time. Each artist employs a different medium, yet they have discovered ways to birth a special project for our magazine. This publication delves into the theme of disconnection and the essential need for artists to share with one another.
Tifawine
Posters created for the Tifawine Association for their fundraising event. Based between Morocco and Switzerland, the Tifawine Association has been working for several months to provide long-term assistance to the victims of the earthquake, particularly by aiding in the reconstruction of their homes.
Jingle Hell
A display typeface created for the exhibition of artist Dexter Maurer, it was utilized for visual communication and for embroidering the fleece jacket offered by the artist.
Makala
Logo designed for the rapper Makala, used for animation in his music videos.
Fri-son collaboration
For this first edition, l43 collaborated with an artificial intelligence program, a field of computer science focused on building machines that simulate human cognition and learning. The theme chosen by l43 is counterfeiting as a cultural phenomenon - specifically, counterfeit products of well-known brands such as Gucci or Vuitton, as they are sold in the souk of Marrakech. Since 2021, Fri-Son has partnered with Etat des Choses to provide artists with a space for creation. Six artists have already participated in the project.
Etats Des Choses magazine
Assistance with the layout of the third edition of the 'Etats Des Choses' magazine and creation of personal artwork. Additionally, I have designed the official logo of the magazine as well as logos for each edition, including display logos.
Personnal work
Since childhood, I have been creating collages. However, during my studies at ECAL, I made the decision to transition from traditional paper collages to digital ones, using After Effects to bring my ideas to life. I find particular joy in experimenting with light and textures in these video collages, aspects that not only define my personal projects but also serve as inspiration for my graphic design creations.
Paisajes Poéticos de Chile
Two publications of Chilean poems for Suizspacio - a cultural space within the new metro station in Santiago, Chile, alongside the poster displayed in a metro station in Chile.
Calligraphy typeface
Typography masterpieces created in calligraphy during a private lesson at ECAL with Aurel Sack, handcrafted typography. The objective was to understand the creation of characters by hand, by grasping the very basics of typography.
Exposition in Albania
As part of an exhibition created by a former ECAL student for his bachelor’s project, I designed the visual communication for his exhibition in Pristina. This included flyers, posters, and an exhibition brochure.
Vijing
I created the visual branding for a birthday party, inspired by the universe of IMVU (a video game). This branding was showcased throughout the entire event.
